It Doesn't Feel Like February

Temperatures were well above normal across the Midwest for the first week of February. Parts of Iowa picked up several inches of snow while heavy rains fell to the south in Missouri. The upper Midwest was mostly dry during the week. Details can be found in the February 7th edition of the Midwest Climate Watch

The Midwestern Regional Climate Center (MRCC) is a cooperative program of the Illinois State Water Survey and the National Climatic Data Center (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, U.S, Department of Commerce).

The MRCC is a partner in a national climate service program that includes the National Climatic Data Center, Regional Climate Centers, and State Climate Offices.

The Illinois State Water Survey is a division of the Prairie Research Institute at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
